| on friday night or early Saturday morning, some idiot put two of my car windows through with a bud bottle, i informed the police who told me to ask round the neighbours and see if they heard or saw anything, am a bit bewildered as i thought that was their job, anyway i told them the beer bottle was in the car and there may be prints on it, and also there is a bloody great ctv camera situated at the end of the street, but was told it wasnt recording, which it wasnt when i got robbed, or when my hanging baskets were ripped down and thrown in the road, still waiting for someone to pick up the evidence (the bud bottle) meanwhile i have had to cough up £50 for the excess on the insurance, and fork out £20 in taxi fares to get my shopping and pick the staff up for work, if big brother is watching he is not doing a very good job! |

| what the police won't admit to the public is that they have a rating system for crime - frome the least serious or traumatic to the most severe - your situation was no damage to persons and they assumed you were insured (if you weren't they consider that hard cheese!) - the paperwork involved and all the effort to catch some isn't worth it for them. I'm not saying it's right of course just that this is reality these days. I have a dictum in life I don't trust the three P's and police fit into that dictum! |

| Sorry to hear that Ollie, if they'd caught it on camera the police still might not be able to recognise them. If they did, they'd probably send them away on safari or Disneyland because of the 'hard life' they've led I'm not saying it's the police's fault, there's just too many scrotes for them to deal with and no respect for property.

| We need Bobbies back on beats, not sitting in BMW's counting the immence revenue brought in by "safety camera's". The motorist is the only live case on any police desk.

| Tractor Jasey, dirty word here in the sticks. On the roads blocking people trying to get to work. In the same box as caravans. Ollie, words fail me! Get a camera installed.

| They are as little as £40 now, or even cheaper on eBay, err, camera's that is. If you want to be a tractor driver...
