Either/or. Some have video, some record digitally. Get your own, they really are not dear. Baby monitor/infra red security camera and monitor can be bought from Woolies for around £40. My daughters got one, it's really good. Connects to the tv too then you can tape what's happening. You can run 3 camera's off it.

thanks thanks for that sweetpea will have a look, have just paid £200 for a camera in the cafe to catch someone who was nicking off me so may all be worth it in the long run
