Bus Depot?

HI, I remember the Burnley bus depot in 1956 being on Colne Road, Not too far From Casterton Ave. What is that area of Burnley called? I used to have a girlfriend in Colne, and would catch the last bus back to the Burnley depot/garage. Then I would have to walk all the way on to Padiham - crazy! All I can remember is that it was a long way. One thing is that it was a "safe" walk, I never had to worry about yobs or similar crazies. After all this time my memory is getting worn out - can anyone help? Thanks, Vetbike.

The depot is still on Colne Road.

The area is known as Duke Bar.

It's a lot rougher than years ago,drugs and lots of our asian neighbours.Not that i am associating them together.

Queensgate! It comes back to me now, thanks Ollie. From all accounts I wouldn't do that walk now.
