Freecycle group in Burnley & Pendle

Have you got a load of clutter in your house?
Is it about time you had a clear out but do not want to throw good stuff away & would rather see it put to good use?
Are you in need of something & are not bothered if it's used/worn as long as it does the job.
Perhaps "Freecycle" might be of interest to you.
Freecycle is an organisation that has groups around the world, where email is used to tell the members in your community that you have something to give away freely (as long as they come & pick it up) or that you are looking for something in particular (who knows, it may be in someones garage).
The main aim of Freecycle is to prevent landfill & heck knows we are running out of places to use for landfill sites.
So far in Lancashire we have groups in Preston, Rochdale & Hyndburn, well now we have one that covers Burnley & Pendle, so if your in Burnley, Padiham, Nelson, Colne or any other surrounding town's your welcome to join & help prevent landfill.
If you are interested in joining the Freecycle group then simply either go here or send an email to burnleyandpendlefreecycle-subscribe@yahoogroups.com (no subject or text required).

Ahh, your on NTL then ? :-)

There is a problem with NTL customers, NTL have Yahoo down as a spam site & is doing some blocking of it or something.
I think changing your proxy server can fix it but that's another longer story.

Ive got some junk or treasure dependant on point of view, i've put on hyndburn freecycle & no got response would it be worth putting it on Burnley/Pendle freecycle ???? otherwise would eventually end up at the tip.

Ive used the accy one without much luck with response [must be junk lol] ive got 2 VHS VCR's to get shot of

i registered with burnley and pendle freecycle but its been like nearly 2 weeks and im still waitin 4 approval
