I use it every weekday.
The seats are hard, the inside is cold, the music is naff & interrupted with illegible & pointless announcements every 3 minutes, while there may be no smoking inside, people still smoke just outside the doorways, standing directly in front of them keeping them open allowing the cold wind & thier old smoke to come in. The toilets are shrouded in a dark light & it's hard to see where you pee, the information office is only ever open during office hours & of no use to those travvelling outside of them, the compuer system at the office is often down, the tea in the cafe is like gnats urine. However, on a cold & wet day at least it's dry inside. It has a digital display showing bus leaving times etc (although often down). There is an inspectors office where you can ask about bus times, however it's only for B&P services. It has a superb fire alarm panel, the worlds best in fact (I'm only saying that because I'm one of the people that designed the internal circuit board :) ). Overall it's far better than the previous station. :D |

Stops me from seeing where I pee too!
Does nowt for the hard of hearing either :D The alarm system nessie, I did the PCB in the main panel. Of course the new bus station is better, it has its flaws (doesn't everything) but its certainly better. |

The worst bus station as got to be the one at Talbot Rd Blackpool! It's mostly closed down now but it's grim. The whole place was just a cold dark shed. The buses came where the passengers stand. The toilets are 500 steps down and anyone disabled or elderly well just forget it. The place is full of wineos, druggies, beggers, ect etc Grim grim grim! Burnley's old one was a palace next to this no joke.

i agree with Wayneyboy ,Talbot rd bus station in Blackpool was the coldest ,most dangerous ,and creepy too,.no wonder they have stopped using it. its now used as a car park and car drivers are wellcome to it,only thing is you now have to catch all the bus,s on the main roads, which is not much cop if it is raining etc,
the priority at Blackpool at the moment is gambling etc,Oh well theres worse things happen at sea!G.C. ![]()
