I'm not too happy about Pendle way being made 20mph, it's hardly a residential road, it's more of the main road down here, the side streets being 20 is OK though.

I know all about the speeding, I used to live on cog lane where they would speed down & take off on the hump outside my door.

I agree totally, I noticed that Thompson St in Padiham has a 20 limit. I am sure that Hapton should be entitled to some form of speed humps what is it going to take before something is done.

Get round to the Parish Council meeting and see what they have to say about it. Don't live in Hapton myself but family do and I know the area well. I've seen cars (and even buses/lorries) doing ridiculous speeds down Manchester Road.

sad but true. often they don't even look at these schemes until there has been a fatality.
