Someone I know asked me to make one to fool his wife into thinking somewhere she goes regularly is haunted. I wanted to make it an obvious fake so she'd have a laugh over it. I couldn't believe it when people were taking it seriously!

I do find though quite unintentionally that people talk to me and often they are talking about people who have passed on or ghosts they have seen. Strangely they are people who i have just met???

Maybe they can sense that you are understanding of such things and wouldn't dismiss them as batty.

Recently lost a 14 year old cat. I often feel something brush past my leg when at the computer table, when no other cat is around. I have felt a cat jump on the bed several times, when there have been no cats in the room.

Do you find that a friendly/pleasant comforting thing? I wouldn't find that scary at all, but then again the supernatural only freaks me if it's something downright nasty but some people are just unnerved by anything they cannot see or explain 'rationally'.

I think animals can be far more sensitive to the spirit world than we are too. Both our cats and the dog we used to have all sit and look at the same corner of the ceiling in the sitting room. Neither of these cats ever even knew the dog yet all three have looked at the same spot for hours.

Yes, I think they know a lot more than we do. As for Rosie, the cat we lost, it's good to know she is still around.

Noddy my grey cat used to sense something in the hall of a flat we lived in years ago. He often hunched his back at one particular spot. I had a strange feeling that i would see a strange gnome like creature in the kitchen of this flat.
Funny really as i never actually saw anything , the area was badly bombed in the war . Where the flats were built soon after , cottages had once been?

Funny you should say that.

My daughter had a friend staying over last night. This girl has never been here before and my husband was teasing her that the house was haunted. She was looking a little worried so he put her at her ease by telling her he was only joking.

Then this morning when there was only the three of us (me, daughter and daughter's friend) in the house and we were all in the kitchen we heard footsteps upstairs!
