theres never a dull moment here

since ive been here ive had a young lad on my roof throwing slates at cops .... my older lad cant go out with out me worrying ... drugs everywhere ... i go to there parents house to complain and get told to shut up and door shut in my face im like omg lol ...

ok rant over !!!

o0o0o and i go to the council to move and there no good lol my next door well they moan to much ummmm ok now rant over

sounds about right for an estate in burnley hun.i had an ex boyfriend who used to live on stoops estate jesus that was bad wouldnt go up in dark unless i had a lift it was horrid

Stoops - the buses stopped running through there at one stage because it was so dog-rough

stoops is better than here ive been told when i looked at this house i thought o0o nice place it was quiet and everythng then there was a fight on the street and omg cops all over the place ... then i got people saying omg why did you pick to live on there . thing is its a 4 bedroom house and there hard to find and needed somewhere to live has the other house was only a 2 bedroom.

yeah i can understand that id love a 4 bedroomed house a i desperatly need it but unfortunately all the 4 beds are taken up with scally families round here.

yeah took me afew years to get this house even tho i love the house cus of the garden for the little ones

I used to work for a company called Orbis Property Protection, installing the temporary alarms (Black boxes) into empty council property and also patrol the estates day and night.

Crime was low due to the patrols and what not and it was great. I could walk round and not get any abuse, etc. We had radio's linked to the cctv on the estate too.

They've stopped this from what I believe, and now just use shutters and the only time the vans come over are when shutters need sorting out.

It's a shame really, going to e-mail the areas management about having security back on the estates, hopefully my company ;-)

yeah i like my house and my area just need a bigger house would be ok then

cctv would be awesome on griffin lol i think anyway it would stop alot of stuff going on.

Dont get me wrong it is nice somtimes but it has bad days like it does everywhere but the thing that gets me is if a kid does somthing and you go to there house and say anything the parents have ago at you like your not ment to complain..

but if my lad does anything wrong id like to know about it has hes no angel hes far from a angel he has ADHD and can be a pain in the ass at times im not a parent who thinks butter woudnt melt in hes mouth lol.

I lived for many years on housing estates in east london, now it's full of drugs and yardies. I now live in the sticks and it's great.

i think to be honest the police are some times just has scared of the kids lol ... kids dont think they can get away with it they no they can cus no one does anything ...

i agree with that. nothing ever happens. i dont do antisocial stuff, but i know people who do. nothing has ever happened to them. theres a poor lady who lives near me, and shes has been terrorised. her windows have been put through, her house bombed, balls smacking at her house, and she gets abouse when ever she comes out. all because shes scottish, and she doesnt want them t oplay football on her grass. im "mates" with the people that have done this, but i dont know why i am. i dont want to get caught up in this. but, even after all this, the police have done nothing. absolutly zilch.

oh jasey... i would die if they were like that round here,,,,that scottish lady has my sympathy ...you cant blame her for not wanting kids to play on her grass..
