post ya fave pubs n clubs, are they good, or are they real dives?

I don't go out to pubs and clubs much in Burnley, when I do I usually end up in the Carlton, suppose it's considered a 'dive' or not trendy, but I like it.

I'm not a big fan of going out round Burnley but usually end up dragged there with my mates. They love it in Lava/Ignite but I personally think it's crap. I don't mind XS when Paul Taylor's doing a Retro set but that's about it. I'd rather go and see a live band than go pubbing. Either that or go somewhere for a meal.

Usually hit the pubs in Burnley or Hellbound Rockclub is my usual haunt!! Hate lava/ignite with a vengance, £6 entry after 12 SHOCKING!!

Well... im 22 and i would agree the majority of customers in there (and staff) are younger than me, i only really go for the cheap drink and good music, id like to know what this new place is gunna be like where latin quarters used to be...

Apparently so, 3 floors, very much like Rock World, but unless it does amazingly well i dont think it will last long, rumours are it will be free entry so that may get people from goin Hellbound, its all down to the music and drinks prices for me though hehe.

sounds good about time something decent opened in burnley too many clubs not enough rock clubs.

I prefer to see live bands than go to night clubs and get glassed or some clown throw beer all over you.

I've seen some good bands at The Derby in colne,Bands every week.............Best i've seen??????

I try to avoid the derbys best i can, i do agree though i enjoy watching live bands, Burnley has a real hidden music scene brimming with talent and potential, my band should be giggin near end of the year hope some of you can catch us sometime :)
