New speed camera being fitted on Westway just as you come off the roundabout heading into the town centre. On the left hand side.

No, the roundabout is though. Think they should have one on there! Money making again.

I've had no less than 6 accidents on that roundabout, and got blamed for 1 even though I wasn't at fault. That was when I worked for a local company responding to alarms all over the borough.

I went past it today, IMO it's too close to the roundabout & only there to catch people for cash.

It's on a downhill road where your concentrating on the traffic rather than your exacy speed :(

Just don't forget that you cannot be fined until it has both a legitimate sign in front of it somewhere & that must be on that road also the calibration stripes on the road in front of it.

I notice that there is also one popping up on the dual carriageway near to asda just past the bathroom centre.

they are presently stopping putting up new camera's until they decide if they are doing their job of stopping accidents
