With regards to being called a racist, what is the penalty given to non-whites or other ethnic groups when they insult white people the christian faith? Just a thought !

Your all wrong, the law applys to everyone regardless of race. White people ae not treated as no2 in this country.

What have you got as a prayer room, and why do you assume it exclusiveley for muslims? Christians pray soemtimes too buddists do and seiks(xcuse the spelling).

Muslims have to pray 5 times a day I belive so, having a prayer room just makes it more convieniant, it doesnt cost alot, and will boost the popularity of the market, I appluad the move.

You all seem to think that coloured people are allowed to be racist, no-one is regardless of race and faith.

You have the cheek to say the prayer room is a waste of money? Theres a mosque in stonley home.
How many protenstants wouldpray in a catholic chruch? Its the same with mosques, a prayer room howver lets people from all faiths and divisions pray together during the dya if they want to. This allows muslims to work in the town center, while still doing what they belive in.

i was under the impression that it did not matter where you pray as long as you prayed eg if you are in the middle of the desert just face macca and you will be alright

I would have thought anyone needing to pray on a mat would have their own given the number of times that they do it a day.

Are you sure that its a prayer room?

I rang Burnley council to find out if this was true, according to them there isnt a Islamic prayer room, but they have provided east facing toilets in the open market. This is an outrage after the council closed down all out of town public toilets because councilors were using them for immoral acts. It is yet more special treatment for one section of the community.

I think the prayer room you refer to isnt actually built as yet and is in the plans for "The Oval" the new shopping center to be built in town, where the council want to throw out perfectly good local businesses so they can let the national chain stores in, a sort of commercial ethnic cleansing.
