No offense but Caddy et al couldn't give two droppings about what's being said on here. Council employees may read but its about time the organ grinders took note.
Because most of the alternatives are not really viable & the ones that are don't get enough votes to get them anywhere.
Then when there are people voted in that people want they just get ignored.
Strange innit, the government tells the council it can keep all the money from parking fines and suddenly, Burnley's traffic wardens have multiplied and gone on a rampage.
Then they tell the council they can keep all the money from litter fines they collect and suddenly they hit us with a system that is obviously not going to work without putting out black bags, then they pass a new rule that says putting black bags out is littering.
I think the answer is obvious. The Council is corrupt and needs replacing with honest people.
It doesn't need a rocket scientist to figure out, no matter how much you recycle, you still have the same amount of refuse, yet the blue boxes are only about a quarter the size of a bin. That means that every two weeks, you have three quarters less space to put your rubbish in. If like me you have a family and struggle to just about cram a weeks worth of rubbish into your dustbin, then obviously you're going to need to put out black bags with your bin.
My bin was stolen about two months ago. The council told me that a new one would arrive within two weeks. Of course this hasn't happened and now I have a yard full of bin bags that the Biffa boys have refused to pick up. The reason for this? Well it's either compleate incomptetance or they are planning to rip me off by forcing me into this position then fining me for littering if I put them out for collection.
If they aren't picked up next collection, I'm going down to the council to ask them straight out to their faces if they are indeed trying to rip me off.
