Mast: jctn manchester rd/rossendale road.

Hello all,

I noticed in the local paper on Friday that there is a planning application in for a camoflaged mast to be erected that contains some aerials at the top of Manchester road/Rossendale road (Summit).

So if you live near there, here is a heads up & time to get them stomping boots out & campaign against it if you don't want it there.

keeping your eyes open won't do anything until it's being installed & then it's too late.
Check the Burnley Express (last Fridays) and that will give you the application details & you will be able to oppose it then.

I for one am against anything like this. Of course these can effect you, there's megawatts pupming out of them things. It's all money with the council and they say they aren't harmful. Course they are, how can that not effect you?

Get campaining Matty, and you can use Burnley Web to recruit and plan whatever you want. Even a campain forum on here........mm, there's a thought for a new section!

Eeee, it's nowt to do with me. I haven't got the time or the inclination to campaign against it, it's miles away from me.

but thanks for the offer of somewhere to campaign, I'm sure if someone is going to campaign against it they will find it useful.

However, we do have someone here that does campaign against them, from the Gannow top thread?
