I shouldn't be here tapping away at the computer.....I should be sorting out the stuff I am taking on holiday with me on Saturday.
I can always find the time to do the things that I want to do, but somehow not the things I should be doing.

I am a dab hand at packing anyway, and I keep telling myself that I can have it all done in about half an hour......it is all true, but I know that on the journey down to glorious Devon I will be pondering over whether I have packed the phone...

I heard the post come this morning and found a letter on my doormat with the Accy Vic stamp on it.
I was a bit perplexed because I wasn't expecting it. I'm not waiting to see anyone, and I'm not currently having any treatment (well, only dental and that is organised by phone)

My mother will be 80 later on this month....my sister and I have been trying to find out what she wants for her landmark birthday........and the answer is the same as it was last year 'just get me a new pair of legs'.....would that it were possible. Having said that I don't really think new legs would cut it for her.

Later on this month too, Ma will become a cancer 'survivor'......that is not the sum total of her ailments.....she's diabetic and suffers from osteoporosis - which has...

I think there must be something wrong with our TV. All weekend there has been nothing on only sport......well, I say sport....mainly football.
Saturday hubby was supine for most of the day watching football.
A couple of games were Aussie Rules matches.......funny I didn't think they showed those on Sky sports......it did say Setanta 1 in the corner of the picture.
Does that mean the crafty devil has gone and subscribed to another sports channel?

Because it is such a miserable wet day.....(i hate these grey days)....I have pitched into a pile of ironing. 2 hours worth! I don't really mind the ironing, it is the putting away that I hate. However, I do feel very righteous when it is all done and put away.

I have just prepared the veg for the Sunday roast - pork today, with steamed cauli and carrots, roast potatoes, mashed potatoes, apple sauce and stuffing.
I have also got a beef and barley casserole in the oven for later...
