I did say that i was going to tell you some more about our trip to Devon....and Cornwall....and that I might even add some pictures.....I was deluding myself there for a moment about the pictures.......I don't know why I thought I could add pictures........lord knows I am not really that clever.....but hey, I can tell you more about our trip.

The day after our arrival we went into Barnstaple. We knew that there was a LIDL there, and we needed provisions for the week ahead........Once...

I was talking yesterday about the long drive down to North Devon.
Keeping the tiddlers amused was not that easy.......especially as the youngest would scream a chorus of 'I wanna ged out' after only very short periods of time.......and we did make the mistake of letting her out at one of the service stations. I never knew that a two year old came with eight arms.....goodness how she fought when we tried to get her back into her car seat.....it was like tacking a hem on a jelly.

In my blog earlier today I was talking about our holiday.
Just thought I would let you all know, that yet again I packed too many clothes......and my promise to take the little one swimming didn't materailise....so my swim things never got wet.
There never seemed to be enough hours in the day to do all the things that we wanted to do.
And little children are very cranky when they are tired.......no afternoon siestas for anyone....though there were a couple of little bodies that...

Just got back from the holiday in Devon.
Yes...... we had a lovely time. and what is more the weather was kind to us......sunny, but not too hot for the kidlidids.

We stayed at the Golden Coast Holiday Parc.
We went there last year, and had a house near the reception......this time we had an upstairs apartment not far from the shop and the childrens adventure playground.
I have to say that the accommodation was nicer this year.......we had a lovely lounge area and...

I have packed my things now......I think it took all of 20 minutes......well, I still have the toiletries to bag up tomorrow.....oh yes and some butties to make. I hate paying the price of the sandwiches on the motorway services.
I have cooked a chicken so I am going to have wholemeal bread with chicken, bacon and mayo sprinkled with ground black pepper.....they might be a bit soggy but who cares.

I have just discovered that I hadn't put my swim things in.........my daughters...
