At last we are in the home straight......and I think that I am done......presents are wrapped and some of them have even been delivered......the shopping is done and all the goodies are in the back fridge and freezer.
I feel like a marathon runner who can hear the cheering voices of the crowd, and see the finish line in view.....but I am not going to celebrate until the day is here and everything is on the table.

It even looks like the Christmas dinner may be postponed until...

Well, Tiddler went back to pre-school today.....in time for their Christmas party, and a visit from Santa.
Daughter and I took ourselves of to Manchester again this morning....having vowed that we would be more focussed on what we should be doing instead of what we would like to do....sit in Starbucks with a large Vanilla latte and a piece of cake......watching the world go by.
It doesn't get the Christmas presents bought does it?
On Friday Manchester didn't seem so busy........today...

I felt Ok on Saturday morning......was talking to Mick about the Accyweb meet. I told him that I am happy to come but I can't get hubby's BTM off the settee......anyway he said he would think about going......which is a big improvement on NO!

Saturday afternoon I started with a headache(I was going to put 'bad' headache, but is there such a thing as a 'good' headache?) and went for a lie down(not me at all).....it was turned five thirty when I surfaced and I felt worse....my throat...

Had a phone call from Debs yesterday....they are having a lovely time on the Isle of Wight....and despite it being very cold they have had blue skies and sunshine.
Not all is rosy though.......some of the guests have gone down with the Norovirus.....and have had to be confined to their rooms. And some guests have had their holiday shortened by a day because the hotel is closing down on Saturday so that a complete disinfection program can be undertaken.

Ma is off sunning her bum on the Isle of Wight.....yes it is sunny down there, but cold too....so I am pretty sure that her BTM didn't get much exposure.
Debs and Ma seem to be having a very enjoyable time.......and I have to admit to being just a tad envious.
They had a trip around the island yesterday....the botanical gardens at Ventnor was on their itinerary.....they didn't go to the Sun Inn for lunch......it was booked out with Christmas dinners....they went to Godshill, and the...
