Autumn Approaches.

This year seems to have flown by. Someone mentioned to me last week that it is only something like 17 weeks to Christmas....aaaargh!
The days are really drawing in now...and I face the darker nights with trepidation.
I think that in a previous life I was either a bear or a swallow.......I either hibernated the winter away or flew south to sunnier climes.
I really do dread the short days when it never seems to get light.....it puts years on me.......and these days the summers seem shorter and the winters longer. Is that just my age?
Soon the shops will be full of the Halloween stuff, followed closely by Christmas gear.....tempus fugit!

I hate to say this Magpie, I have seen Halloween stuff in one shop, Christmas trees and decorations (half price!) in another one! I cant wait till they bring out the easter eggs, I love Cadbury Creme Eggs!!Posted 06-09-07 at 14:02 by Mercury
