So long!!!!

I didnt realise how long it is since i did one so do you really want to know what i've been doing since September? Well arguing with bt, learnt how to make broth, missing spug, no internet, opening my mouth and volunteering to write a quiz for a quiz night to be held next friday night at the IDL club in Haslingden which should be fun, seeing as its a week to go and ive got 100 questions 4 rounds of 25, on scotland (seeing as it is St Andrews day), sport, entertainment and general knowledge. At the minute i've done scotlands round of 25, i've got 12 questions on sport, 15 on entertainment and 7 on General Knowledge. Not bad really. The hardest was doing the 25 on scotland. I used to organise a quiz night for the school in the pub once a year. I did it for about 4/5 years and raised in total around £2000 on that one night from a raffle, play your cards right and the quiz. It was hard work i used to start organising it 4 months in advance - all the better to get the prizes in - wrote off to all the premiership clubs once, all the formula 1 teams another year besides hitting local firms etc. Anyway ive also volunteered to make the christmas decorations again this year for the credit union seeing as they do sell pretty well for what they are and they are easy to make just the painting of them is the hard bit. When i finally make them i'll post some pics of em in progress and you can see what theyre like. Spug still has no computer - tis the hard disc as well as the dvd gone on it and because it needs the hard disc to boot from the external one wont work either. Went to my sisters yesterday after work for a change and her computers down. Her son told me that sparks came out of the back of the computer when her partner was playing cards on it. Anyway she needs a new power pack - told her to go to Creative Computers at Road End, its not far from us and theyre a good firm. England match half time was near enough upon them and camera panned round and you could see steve mclaren making notes and sis said wonder what hes writing, i said its his resignation letter ..... well he didnt need one did he? Anyway came home about half 10 last night. Letter from bt asking me to ring em, so i did do today at 12.20pm 20 mins of being on hold and the bloke said i'd come thro to the wrong dept said he'd put me thro to the right one, 5 mins later i spoke to a girl and anyway she told me she'd ring me back right away - i was going to a memorial gathering at 1.30, 1.30 comes and goes... no fone call, i had a physio appt at 3pm, thank god i rang them and swapped the appointment, she rang at 2.55!!! Was i ripping. I was ever so politeful - but i did get my message across!!!! One good thing though i havent had any fits in october or so far in November. I started writing my christmas cards the other night. I cheat though - i just write in them merry xmas & happy new year from jen and write the names on the envelopes. Its easier that way the only thing is though i have so many. Ive written the ones for ireland, just got to post them now. Another one when i went to work yesterday i asked about the holidays at christmas and what i would end up having. Found out i've got 3 weeks to take BEFORE 31st December... can carry one week over so i've booked 2 weeks off in december one at the beginning and then the week before xmas. So i'll get my holidays in. Anyway bye for now i'll probably come and tell you how the quiz night goes on. That is if im still living after theyve done the questions......
