What software did you use when creating the image Poppy?

Just the bog standard paint shop pro 9, is there better I should be using? I find paint shop easy for my old brain, i have animation shop as well but haven't figured how to take bits from one and add to the other and still have movement

I was just asking in case it's something I'm familiar with and can offer a suggestion or three.

If you open your image up in Animation Shop and then duplicate it you can export one of the frames to Paint Shop, change it slightly and then send it back.

In Paint shop if you stick a sparkle on when you take it back to animation shop the fact that one frame has it and one frame doesn't will cause it to twinkle when animated.

Do that several times with more frames and sparkles in different locations and you get lots of twinkles.

I went a bit mad, needs work, I got my frames mixed up, but now I know how, I can fix it the way I want, thanks again willow

I've put an eye in for you, best way to animate is to create a Giff imago

have made several gif animations, was just trying something else, don't think the eye looks right in there, doesn't fit with the feel I was going for.

I changed the duration time of some of the frames to acheive the irregular twinkle effect.
