With all the hype/nostalgia about the 80's nowadays you'd think someone would be keen to cash-in and at least have a night of 80's-90's music. Having said that, most of the clubs in Burnley played all the crap/tacky stuff the first time around!!...relentlessly!!!

In my experience there was loads of good music in that era...it just didn't make it to Burnley nightlife in a big way.

There were some good nights on in Manchester at the time that played 60's-present rock/psyche/indie type stuff, usually went to those given the chance. No stoopid dress-code either.

I only went to Churchill's once, years ago and only stopped for a swift pint and a blotter on my way to somewhere else lol, so I don't really know what that was like.
