We didnt have a tin bath, but ive started writing down my memories of a 50,s childhood for my grandchildren . My grandad who was a Burnley policeman died and my grandmother used to play on her gramophone "The laughing policeman" I suppose to cheer herself up! I heard this record constantly when i was little and it takes me wayback when i hear it again ,to see her sitting on her rocking chair remembering him! |
