Police Warning for School Run in Pendle Parents in Pendle face being hit with on-the-spot fines if they do not wear a seat belt on their way to school or if they park on the zig-zag lines.
It's a scheme operated each year by Nelson Police to remind parents and children of the safety of using belts and parking properly.
People parking outside school gates should have more than a fine, they should have their vehicle confiscated for a week. This is both dangerous and unhealthy to the children coming in and out of school. People should park up away from the school and walk round to it. |
