I do hope the benefit game for Tinman realises more than the £7,000 the great Hungarian Ferenc Puskas netted after a charity game on his behalf.
A charity match for Puskas was played on 14 August 2005 involving Real Madrid. The Spanish side took £892,000 for fees and expenses while just £7,000 went towards medical care for one of the all-time greats of the game. Puskas is in a Budapest hospital suffering from a form of Alzheimer's disease and needs 24-hour medical supervision.
