I've heard of Jim's Caff, but I'm not sure where it is exactly. I think it's a folk/acoustic act type venue.
The Lava/Ignite place on hammerton street used to have tribute acts on - not been down for ages though. I saw a Jam and a Madness/Bad Manners act there a while back, they were both very good, but I can't remember what they were called or where they were from - sorry not much help!
There's a Rolling Stones tribute on at the Mechanics soon as well.
