Hetty Wainthrop was filmed on Oxford Rd Burnley in what was Steve Lairds. village barber,s and outside there. Then in a house in Burnley Wood ?and then on Woodgrove Rd, in a house ,next door to where i used to live years before. I was outside watching the filming inside, with my son and Patricia Rutledge looked through the window and waived at the two of us! I thought that it was nice of her to take the time to do that! Man in the white suit i think was filmed in Healey Wood. Queen St mill recently featured in the Bill Oddie family history, my son helped clear the mill prior to filming.I watched North and South and wondered which mill was used? Towneley has been used before for The Tennant of Wildfell Hall, heard they were doing that again, not sure! |
