I had one of those illegal tickets for parking in Bankfield (at the end of Standish ST/Pioneer car park).
I disputed it due to the poor condition of the yellow lines & got it cancelled although I'm sure that there Will be many that have not.
Some (and I mean "some") tickets are fully justified, but Parkwise do go over the top & fail to use both common sense/respect & fairness.
One of the reasons for not using st peters was that it was so far away from anywhere that it was considered unsafe to leave your car there, althoiugh we used it when we needed to.
What Burnley council have also done is to block off any freely available space for parking too, any bits of land that people might be able to use have been blocked off by the council so that people are forced to use the council charged places. |
