Must agree quasi, there is a 'tribal urge' inside the head of all drummers.
Imagine those nutcases like phil colins actually transferring there skills from beat to screen (scary).
I suppose drummers like bonham (led zep) are quiet and await the time to make their stance and play the drums VERY WELL.
THe real difference is that drum beat always plagues the drummer, its I suppose like a riff that a lead guitarist cannot get right till he/shes heard it a thousand times. I feel that drummers are perfectionists and as such find it dificult to follow music (since beat is sporadic whereas lead/ryhthem can be written per say)
Is it not perfection that crazes the mind, and when it's found, the mind has moved on elsewhere?
The life of a drummer is plagued, why? missing a beat to a drummer is like missing the gig altogether, hence the vodka start from Epic's drums...
