No I live in the Ribble Valley... there's a lot worse places than Burnley to be in though let me tell you!
And fair comment about the balloons not going up etc.... It costs £12k for the balloons alone and for the amount of effort the pilots put into it, it's not really worth it..... If you get a chance to go to the event in Bristol (think it's on this weekend!), then it's well worth the £7 entrance.
Don't think the Burnley Balloon Festival will be going ahead next year in it's current format... there should still be a show of some kind... probably without the balloons! |
