Paedophiles DO NOT think that what they are doing is wrong. An experts analysis is that it IS a sexual orientation that is there from when a person discovers their sexual orientation. A gay or straight person does not choose to be what they are...they just are. Paedophiles just ARE too. I know it seems a bloody evil thing to have it called an orientation in the same way that homosexuality or heterosexuality are but that is how it is explained in laymans terms by the psychiatric profession. Can we change our sexual preference? No we can't and neither can they because they do not understand society's revulsion or indeed think it is wrong to start with. Many will say of their victims that she/he led them on or asked for sex...they honestly believe that!!
So my point is that no amount of therapy or anything will get rid of the urges these monsters have. They are what they are and should be kept off the streets permanently. |
