Re: Good luck to the Clarets for the new season!!!!! I am not a pessimist by nature - by eck, you have to be an optomist to be a Claret
but
We are facing a relegation battle this season and no mistakes
On paper we have a VERY competitive first XI, but absolutely NOTHING after that and when we get injuries and suspensions during this season, we will be up **** creek without the proverbial paddle
I 100% blame the board for this situation
1, we can't possibly have any high wage earners left in the team now that Super Glen, Ian moore, Alan Moore, and Robbie Blake have gone
2, we pull 10,000+ crowd to every game at an average of £15 per ticket
3, pies, beer, shirts, season tickets, clarets foundation, golden gamble etc. ALL pull a lot of extra revenue in
4, We have sold Gawthorpe
5, we have sold the Turf
and yet the board would tell us we still need to tighten our belts and so on and so on
WHY?
Where has the money gone?
Reports now have given trials to an injured Trinidad striker, a german nobody, a Peruvian midfielder and aVenuzualan defender
Am I the only person who thinks this isn't good enough
For the first time in my football life, I am totally indifferent to this season That said, up the Clarets and let's Crack-on!!! |
