Re: Nightclubs - Love or Hate? I'm the same Jason, although I know this attitude is a bit unreasonable as there are trouble spots in most towns on a fri/sat night. The thing is though, I don't think what is on offer in Burnley is worth the hassle. At least when I go out in other towns/cities, there is a novelty value. I do tend to feel safer in larger towns and cities , probably due to the choice of places to go being higher - in other words, being able to leave the streetfighting types to their own devices and getting messy in my own way without having to explain "what the f**k I'm looking at".
There might be good places to go in our town, but I haven't been clubbing here for ages, so I can't give an informed opinion on what it is like nowadays, nor do I care that much - I don't feel like I'm missing out on anything, just a bit sad at my perception of what it has turned into.
