Maybe during the winter months it might be OK, at the moment I usually only remember to put my bags out once a fortnight & often end up taking them to the dump myself if my 4 bins are overflowing. (I'm still on bags as I cannot get a wheelie bin through my back gate).
Where I am currently living I can guarantee that the fly tipping will increase &the back streets will become an even greater mess.
Will Biffa come out & clean up quicker? NO they will not, even if they are only on fortnightly collections. They won't come & clean up all the mess any more than they do now, which is damn little & always too late.
If you report an incident of fly tipping etc, there may only be bags of rubbish there, but by the time that biffa get around to coming & doing anything, it's all over the place & they then pick up very little of it. Grrrrr. |
