 Granville/Time/TIny to close.
The local Simonstone based Granville Technology group, owners of those nasty high street computer brands such as TIME & TINY are set to close shortly.
Today all their shops have not opened & it looks like the 2000+ staff will be made redundant.
From what I know about the quality of their computers, this may be a good thing, that the brands are taken off the market, leaving better computer suppliers the opportunity to provide decent systems in their place.
However, it will leave thousands of staff unemployed & seeking work & this is a shame.
All the directors have resigned (like rats leaving the sinking ship?) except the Chairman.
Either Emit (the factory shop) will be having a mega sale or will the company resurface under a new name, the previous one having been declared bankrupt etc? |
