Burnley Sports Alliance wishes to announce the “Burnley Sports For All Day” on Sunday 7th August 2005 from 1pm to 5pm. The event will be held at Queens Park Burnley.
The aim of the day is to:
· Provide an opportunity to all residents of Burnley to take part in sport
· Offer taster sessions on different types of sports that can be accessed in Burnley
· Promote community cohesion through sport
· Provide a platform for various sporting clubs and organisations in Burnley to promote their activities and encourage recruitment
On the day various clubs and organisations will offer taster sessions in the activities they have to offer.
Some of the activities on offer will include:
football, cricket, basketball, cheer leading, tennis, crown green bowling, climbing wall, putting, table tennis, volleyball, badminton, skateboarding and many more………………………………………….!
