The London team presented its bid to host the 2012 Games, following packages from Paris, New York, and Moscow.
Lord Coe, the London 2012 chairman and a double Olympic champion, said the capital was offering a "vision of inspiration and legacy" for future generations.
His team was followed by Madrid, the last presentation before the members of the IOC retired to cast their votes.
Britain had a tough act to follow after the Paris team provided an impressive video of how the city would host the games.
Moscow were the first to be voted out, followed by New York and Madrid.
The fourth and final round of voting, between London and Paris, has finished - the decision will be announced in less than an hour. Would this be good for britain?? |
