Like as been stated the royalty are good for tourism, but as for them being necessary i don't think so. As we only have a figure head monarchy and not an autocratic one.
The real power lies in the money behind the government, or do people really believe that the M.P.'s are there for our benefit?, Sorry wanderd a little off topic then:) |
