Went up Pendle years ago. If anyone is going up and likes a drink think on they normaly shut the pubs.
Only thing we saw that was frightening was a mad farmer who told us that if we did'nt get off his land he would shoot us.
I have never seen a ghost but i know people that have. I once knew a bloke that used to work at the Temple street daycentre in Burnley. He was locking the place up for the night and there was no one else in the building.
He was in a room checking around when he heard footsteps and saw a shadow walking down the hall. Why would he lie?
As for people that claim to speak to the spirits of the dead I just think that for everyone that can(some do seem to be able to tell people things that they could'nt know) there are 99 that can't and they seem just to be trying to give people what they want. One I saw on TV who was chargin £75 to give "a on line sitting" I will do the same for £25! |
