I saw a report on the news some time last week,that there is a strong chance of power cuts over the winter. This is due to the fact that they only just have enough power and do'nt have a lot of spare capacity. It told you to get candles and a torch just in case. I was only young but I remember the power cuts of the 70's and the thought of that again is frightening. |
