How many of you have had electricity bills this week? Mine arrived yesterday and I was gob smacked at the total because it was from June which should be the cheapest period of the year. In a shop I heard someone saying that she had been upset at the price on her bill and had checked the meter reading and found it was way over what she had used.
Checking my meter I found that I was being overcharged by over £20. So I have asked for a new bill, why should they have £20 of my money for electricity I haven't used?
By the way, just imagine the amount of money they will if they have overcharged every household with their estimated bills, plus the interest of course.
