I personally dont want them because i have one son at habegham at the moment who likes the school and doesnt want to change, my other son is still at infant school but when he comes to change to senior we will not have the choices we will be told which one he has to go to which i think is not right,, i just wondered if i was on my own or does anyone else have any opinion on this.  :stop: |
I to have a daughter at Habergham who will be doing her GCSEs soon and a daughter at junior school in year 5.I am very concerned at all the upset these new super schools will cause.My eldest wanted to stay on at Habergham sixth form to do A levels but after hearing and reading all the horror stories she has decided that she wants to go to college instead as she said she doesnt want to go to a sixth form based down Barden.Why cant they just refurbish and extend the schools already in the area?Theres plenty of land around there.Im also worried about my youngest daughter having to go up Rossendale Road to school.Its bad enough starting at high school without having to travel far aswell.:stop:
