Yet another things that sucks about this country. We certainly don't live in a free country any more - well, have we ever really?
Soon the UK will just be a huge mass of houses. Row upon row of ugly buildings. The only greenery we will see will be our gardens, and national parks.
Last time I visited Burnley, I was so upset at the amount of new houses built round Lowerhouse. I remember being told about the time when they were trying to get permission to tip on the beautiful lodges - even David Bellamy got in on the act to try to save it, but they couldn't.
This country sucks, the government sucks, and we are just a load of pawns for the fat cats of the UK. Let's just say I have a few more countries in mind once I qualify as a nurse :) |
