Default Re: Family

Hi Karen, I also research my family tree and have been for 18yrs now. My research has mainly been in Burnley and Ireland. Took a quick look at the names you stated and have this (Which you'll most probably have) James Edward Partlin b. April/may/june 1879 married May winchester Oct/nov/dec 1898 both in Haslingden. Have found I think 4 children,Mary Ellen J/F/M 1900, Mary Josephine j/f/m 02, Ellen o/n/d/03( These might now be there children but they were born in Haslingden) Catherine Partlin A/m/j 1914 Haslingden, surname of mother does match. James was in the Accrington Pals a private 15967 and you can download his medal card at the National Archives docouments online for £3.50. His wife May Winchester was born J/A/Sept 1878. Married Patrick Mulrooney A/M/June 1919 in Haslingden. James and May are on the 1901 census in Accrington living at 12 Bank st, both 22, brick labourer and Laundry Maid, both working. census ref RG13/3857 page 61. Electoral rolls are good for finding people the local area are sometimes held at the main town libraries, have you tried these will keep digging around for you, if you want any help drop me aline anytime.Have to go as sister just arrived with kids. Kind regards Karen
