I thought this was why we have had so much tax increase to pay for these wages?
Its all crap and I'd take anything the mayor says with a pinch of salt, all year its been a load of argy bargy between labour and the lib dems, the lib dem mayor has had her good kicking of labour council leader caddy in his nads by complaining about the rubbish but if it was Birtwistle running the council, would it be any different? Would the mayor be moaning or just blaming the labour council before them?
Its a farce and I think we should get this accountant stuff on the road. It's going to be difficult because we have no say in the council and will be fun to see all the councillors bending over backwards to get our votes in doing what WE want to get votes, and if they mess it up, they won't be getting votes in 2006 when we have the next borough council elections. |
