It's probably because you're used to it, and the seed of disagreement has only now been planted, after seeing the stories about the St Peters Centre.
There may have been issues at Blackburn, but unless you read the Blackburn articles in the Telegraph closely, you might not have noticed before. This time, it's closer to home, so has more impact.
