I'd love to see more use made of the public spaces in the town centre in the evenings - especially in the warmer months, instead of being playgrounds for drunken hooligans. Doesn't have to be some noisy festival type thing, just somewhere for all age groups to gather and enjoy themselves. Maybe the caffs and coffee shops could stay open a bit later with an evening market - take the bias towards drinking establishments away, if there was something else to actually do things might change?
