It seems that every time you pick the paper up some one you know has passed on. there are a few lads I went to school with are no longer with us. I think the sadest one for me was the parents of the lass from Ossy who was killed in the London Bombing, have both died within 3 months of each other, I went to school with both John and Barbara Targett and I worked with both of them, John at Shopfitters Lancashire Ltd in Ossy and Barbara in my political days when she was secretary for the Conservatie Ass in Hyndburn. In my book the bombers claimed another couple of lives, because I don' think either of them got over their daughters death, a very, very sad case |
