Re: Stress My advice to anybody reading this thread? accept that there could be a time in your life when? you might suffer worry and anxiety for a justifiable reason. Here is the key, as I see it, do not allow these negative thoughts to take over your daily life. You need to address what? is causing this anxiety? am I doing something in my life that I could change? perhaps by removing the cause of your anxiety, you might start to understand why? you feel the way you do.
Let me tell you a story about a dear friend who had three chairs in his room, when I used to visit, I had to sit on his bed, one day I asked why? I could not sit on the chairs. He explained to me passionately that their were three people in the room with us! Jesus, Bob Marley and the devil, could I not see the in depth discussion taking place about the purpose of life. I could not respond to the question, for fear that I might offend one or the other. This friend also gave me an insight to the life of somebody living on the street, he always said that people would throw a few pennies into his hat with conditions? have you been to the council to get home?why dont' you get a job.His reasoning was that if you donate to any cause then it should be unconditional, the act of giving is for the person giving not the recipient? Think about that piece of advice from a street person? |
