I went back to work when Alice was 8 months old, only work weekends and maybe a few hours during the week if they are short, but that depends on whether my other half is home from work to look after her for a few hours during the week for me to go in. If not, then I dont go to work.
I'm lucky that I can just work weekends in my line of work. It would be nice to stay off work until she goes to school, but we couldnt afford for me not to work, and by doing weekends, Alice is being looked after by her mum and dad, rather than childminders. |
