Please spread the word. Thankyou. |
The local Lions group, both in York and here in Marske have dished out 'message in a bottles' to the local chemists and GP surgeries for anyone to pick up, free of charge. Basically, they are white tubs with paper in, and you write all your details on ie name, DOB, NOK, any medical problems you have, any allergies, your GP's name and address, what (if any) meds you are on. And, also if you have young children if they are at school, what school they go to, in case some one needs to be contacted to pick the kiddies up.
They are a good idea, as if you collapse in the street, someone will be able to know what to do and who to contact. You can also keep them in the fridge, and you get a couple of stickers to put in the front of yor door.
Quite a good idea in a way.
