Lancashire Exile here. We used to meet outside the Palace on Saturday mornings to walk round the centre and go to Websters Record Shop to listen to the new records. About a dozen of us used to go, listen to the records in one of the booths and then buy 1 record between us - they cost 6s 9d!!
